Our Staff

Micah and Beth Sewell

Micah and I both felt called to lifetime ministry in missions in our early teens. We met in 1999 in a YWAM summer program for high school students and then bounced around the world in various training schools, falling in love along the way. We’ve been full-time YWAMers since 2006, doing a job that is so special and fulfilling it doesn’t seem fair to call it work.

Our passion is to “make disciples of all nations” by raising up and sending out disciplers (2 Timothy 2:2) into the corners of the world. We are humbled by the treasures who come to our schools and fearlessly spread the gospel in some of the darkest places of the earth.

Please pray for our family, our needs and our students.

Mike and Missie Anscomb

Hi! We are the Anscomb family! Though our personalities are polar opposite, we make one heck of a team! Mike is the base administrator here at YWAM UV and has a passion to see things run smoothly and in order here at our campus. I on the other hand, as the hospitality & local outreach coordinator, would rather ignore the logistical side of things and stick to making friends with anything that breathes oxygen, and seeing that every guest we host has a warm blanket, fluffy pillow, their favorite snack, and a vase of flowers in their room. Our kids can be a bit high-strung but are about the cutest things you’d ever meet. They love rocking out on their air instruments, cuddling & reading books, entertaining guests, creating art (Mostly on our walls…), and asking random strangers if they know Jesus.

Our heart is to see the body of Christ unified, True discipleship happening, and a generation of worshipers & songwriters who know the heart of God, and what it means to worship him in spirit & in truth, raised up and sent out into the nations.

We are excited about what God is doing here in the Upper Valley, and all over New England, and it’s an honor that we get to be a small part of it.

Sean and Kati Rose Wieder

Hi, we’re Sean & Kati Rose. We’re excited to be here in New England. Sean is from Pennsylvania and I’m from Washington State, and we met in Texas. We’re kind of all over the place. 😉 We are excited to see what God is doing in the Upper Valley and to be part of it.
Here’s a little more about us:

Kati: Loves Jesus, books, big words, puns, Africa (yes, the whole glorious continent), teaching, studying, airplanes, coffee dates, dinosaurs, beautiful music, drinking tea and staying home in her jim-jams.

Sean: Hates writing bios; but loves Jesus, games, numbers, tea, and animals (especially reptiles and other creepy ones). He also loves going out when he could stay home, which is still incomprehensible to his introverted-in-an-extroverted-job wife. Also, he loves his wife. A lot.

We can’t wait to meet you!

Livia Petty

Hey I’m Livia. I’m from Montana. I am the most recent member of the YWAM team. I enjoy long walks on the beach, fishing, hiking, skiing, cities and never turn down a challenge…sometimes.

Before moving to the Upper Valley I was an elementary school teacher at a K through 12th grade school in Texas that was run by YWAM. A vision of being in the Upper Valley is to start a similar style school or home school group.

Chad Kircher

Hi, My name is Charles D. Kircher, AKA Chad. My father is a pastor, so I grew up in the church. Not to say that I am a perfect Christian.

I did both my Discipleship Training School (DTS) and School of Evangelism (SOE) in Tyler, Texas.

Something personal about me is I love medieval times, and I enjoy making things. I write poetry. I am someone who enjoys laughing and making others laugh.

Alyssia Brown

Hi guys!! I’m Alyssia. I come from a large family, with a background in missions. For 20 years my parents ran a drug and alcohol rehab, so I grew up in ministry. I was first involved with YWAM 11 years ago when I did my DTS, and have been a friend of YWAM ever since. Recently God placed it on my heart to move to the Upper Valley and become part of the staff team here.

I love getting to know people and to really teach them to be everything that God has created them to be. I have a heart for the hurting, broke and lost, fatherless generation that everyone else has written off. God placed a passion in my heart for the teens and young adults of this day and age years ago. I love to laugh and have fun, but I also enjoy being serious and down to earth. I am so excited to see how God is working and moving in New England, and even more excited that I get to be a part of it.
